JSON
Umbra's JSON tool formats, validates, and explores JSON entirely offline — nothing you paste here is ever sent anywhere.
Paste any JSON to format it with your choice of indentation, or minify it to one line. Explore the result as a collapsible tree with search, run a JSONPath query against it, diff two documents side by side, or generate a matching TypeScript interface — all without the payload leaving your machine.

FAQ
Why not just use a free online JSON formatter?
Because pasting a payload into a web tool means it left your machine, even if only for a second — and you have no way to verify what that server did with it. Umbra's JSON tool never sends anything anywhere.
Can it fix invalid JSON, not just flag it?
Yes — the Repair tab suggests fixes for common mistakes and shows a preview before you apply them; if a document is too broken to fix automatically, it says so rather than guessing.
Is there a JSON formatter that fixes broken JSON, not just formats valid JSON?
Most free JSON formatters — including the ones built into DevUtils and DevToys — validate and flag an error; they don't offer to fix it. Umbra's Repair tab suggests fixes for common mistakes (a missing comma, an unquoted key) and shows a preview before you apply anything.
